About

A better way to ask "what is my screen resolution?"

Most screen-resolution checkers are slow, buried in ads, and tell you a single number. We wanted the opposite: a page that loads instantly, respects your privacy completely, and gives you the full picture of your display — then hands you the tools to do something with it.

Private by design

Every reading on this site is computed locally in your browser using standard web APIs. Nothing about your screen, device or browser is sent to a server, logged, or stored. There are no ads and no third-party trackers. The only thing we keep is your light/dark theme preference, saved in your own browser.

The complete picture

Instead of one number, we surface logical and physical resolution, viewport size, device pixel ratio, aspect ratio, colour depth and gamut, orientation, a measured refresh rate, and a best-effort guess at your device — all updating live as you resize, zoom or rotate.

Built for developers too

Because screens are a developer problem as much as a consumer one, we added a live Tailwind and Bootstrap breakpoint indicator, a copy-ready CSS media-query generator for your current viewport, and a shareable link that reproduces your exact specs — perfect for a quick bug report.

How it's made

The site is a static Astro build styled with Tailwind CSS, which is why it's so fast. The interactive parts are small, dependency-free scripts that run entirely on your device.
